Crazy weather

Oh my!!

It's 2am now and it suddenly started raining without a sign.

How more unpredictable can the weather get???

One minute it's hot and sunny and the next it's raining heavily and the next it's sunny again. Seriously signs of global warming man XD

Ah! I shouldn't complain since its the BEST time to rain at night cos we're indoors and we can snuggle up in bed and sleep like a babyy! :D :D D

I should do that now. ;)

The first attempt

Finally found the time to bake after a lonngggg time! Spent the last day of my holiday baking. At least something productive and I'm proud of myself! :D

Was deciding wat to bake, and in the end decided to try out the Carrot Walnut Cake recipe that came out in the StarMetro on Sunday courtesy from Suchan Deli.

And I'm happy with how it turned out! :D Yum yumm!


Altered abit of the recipe though... didn't add the dessicated coconut and the pineapples that were supposed to be added cos i realised I didn't have it when I was baking! Haha. Oh, and I also didn't make the cream cheese topping. Hahaha I was lazy and it's fattening :P

Btw, did you know carrot cake is the least fattening cake around?? ;)

It would be extra perfect if i added raisins though!! :D :D Pretty yummy recipe I must admit and I'm sure it would be better with the toppings as well and those other ingredients i left out. haha! Perhaps the next time I'll bake it with the proper recipe and see how it turns out :)

Classes have resumed already :( Had our first fin 204 lecture today and OMG it's soooo boringggg :S And we've got assignments already...the first one due on the 24 Dec!!! Just one day before Christmas Eve. How evil can he be????? T___T

I'm still so in the holiday mood. This is the first time in my entire life I'm havin classes in December!!! :O December is always a very holiday-ish month for me with Christmas and New Year's and all...and basically EVERYBODY is on holiday in December!!!!!!! But this time, I'm stuck with havin to attend classes :S What a draggg omggg!!!! I hope HELP gives us a week for the Christmas and New Year week.

For now, no classes till Monday :D Hoping to bake brownies if I have time! Woohoo! ;)

My nails lost their virginity

I've got weird friends, seriously.

After getting some stuff done on Friday night, we were randomly talking about how quiet the streets were (you know, a place like Bangsar being quiet is quite rare).

We had this conversation.

Friend A : Ehhh you know it's always been my childhood fantasy to lie on a main road and think as if the road is mine!

Friend B : Ya, ya ehh me too larr!!

*both suddenly got all excited*

And tadaa!!! That was exactly what they did.

And we were their photographers for the night. This one a bit play cheat lar haha! It'was the housing area road so not that many cars. I bet they wouldn't dare do it right in front of Bangsar Village's Road! O.O

I've never SWEATED so much in my entire life. HAHAHA.

The past few days have been mainly lepak-ing with my mum. (not to mention getting broke!) Walking here and there. In 3 days I've been to Pavillion and Bangsar Village twice. O.O I'm so bored of BV I think I can not go there for at least a month.

Over at BV today, there was a small Haagan Daz booth having a promotion. Buy their ice cream (i think it's to promote their new flavour) and get a free manicure for free! So my mum and I decided to try it :)

My mum took much longer than I did. Mine was a quick and easy job. Considering my short and ugly nails :( Sighhh. At one point in time, I did succeed to let it grow till it was quite nice but then that habit of peeling it off kicked in again!! T__T


My nails were virgins...until today! Haha. I always find that it's not worth paying for a manicure for my nails since it's so short and there's not much to paint. So from today, I shall vow NOT to peel them and keep it pretty like a lady. :P And when (and if!) i succeed, I'll pamper myself then to a good mani and pedi!! :D

I feel so pampered just looking at it. Haha. I think this kind of pampering sessions are addictive. Like facials and spas too! All also need $$$ wannn. :( What can we actually do to pamper ourselves .....which don't require cash??!!!

Time flies and tomorrow is officially my last day of holidays T___T I wish I had a month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( HELP suckss.

Plannin tomorrow to try to bake the carrot cake recipe that came out in The Star today :D Well, that depends on what time I'll wake up XD I should actually bake since I'm so free now, I'll be lazy when uni starts again. Lol.

The final week

I've lost the mood to blog these few days. Probably because I've got nothing to blog about ( been stuck at home doing nothing :( and also am worried about the exam issue.

It turned out that there was a problem with our case and they wanted us to write an appeal letter. For now, all we can do is hope and pray for the best..besides that there's totally nothing that can be done already. Sighh. Dropped by uni this morning to drop the letter...and you know if somebody gives you a letter, you expect to receive in its original condition, that is IN the envelope and NOT opened right???

BUT NOOOOO. One of the clerks made me OPEN it before I could hand it to that particular person I was supposed to hand it too. Like WTF????!!!!!!!!! Like there's anthrax or something in it. Which I won't be surprised if students would actually wanna do that because they totally suckk. Where has privacy gone???!!!

Well that aside, I really hope they'll allow us to resit the final exam. After all the hassle we won't through, I hope it'll pay off :(

We're exactly a week away from the new sem. So FAST!!!!! T__T
Have pretty much confirmed on taking two finance subjects this sem. My timetable rocks! Haha I only have two days of classes per week that is tues and wed! I'll have a longgg weekend from friday to monday woohoo!!! How cool can it get??! Haha. This is one thing I love about short semesters! :D

New Moon is comin out in 2 days! Woohoo can't wait! :D Tried callin in to book tickets on the 26th but they don't have the movie in their system yet. :( Do they not allow bookings for new movies?? :O


Edward Cullen is HOT but Robert Pattinson is not. He's so ugly in real life ewww. He looks gorgeous in the movie!! Ah! And Taylor Lautner..woot woot! Did you know Taylor's with Taylor? (as in taylor swift!) Cool heh. They should name their kids Taylor Juniors. LOL.

Gonna get a hair trim tmr. My hair's split ends are starting to get obvious and its getting out of shape! XD

Finally watched 2012 today!!! :D

And boyyy it was goooodddd!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good action with cool graphics and quite a pretty cast. The lil girl's so cute!!! XD Don't mind watching it againn its awesome stuff!

I didn't know the cinema would be packed on a Friday afternoon. (it being a weekday i thought everybody's at work?!) Gee was lucky that I was able to get a seat. A very random decision and I was itching to go since everybody is saying how good it is. And i wasn't let down at least :D

Long day tmr. Off to Curve in the morning for some Combat classes with my sis and to get some groceries for BBQ at night. Yum yum it's been a while since I last had tasty chicken wings and grilled spicy fish woohooo! :D :D Darn cravingsssss XD

Ah its getting really late now. Bedtimee.

As reality sinks in

Yesterday and today was by far the most 'memorable' days of my life this year.

Found out last night at 1am that I (and 2 other friends) got our acc200 final paper exam date wrong and we missed the exam which was supposed to be on the 16th instead of the 25th. I know its an impossible mistake to make (what not there's 3 of us!) and I seriously am still trying to get over the fact that we made such a HUGE mistake and it HAS happened and it's not merely a bad dream which I'm hoping it would be. =/

Sigh. How ironic that I was ranting about how boring that subject was on my Nov 16th post! Now, I don't even get to sit for it! :(

Managed to get everything sorted out today. If everything goes well (am praying hard it would!) we'll probably get to sit for it next year but this means an extra unnecessary burden put upon our shoulders! We'll have 4 subjects that semester + this extra final paper to sit for. Sigh. All because of ONE silly misunderstanding. What a huge price to pay. CRAP.

On a good note, this means I'm on holidays now till the end of this month when the new sem starts. But I seriously don't feel in the holiday mood at all. I feel stressed instead. Sigh. Was so looking forward to finishing the exam supposedly on the 25th and enjoy the holidays although its only 5 days. I'm sure I would really savour that 5-day moment. :(

Well, a lesson learnt. ( a heavy one!)

Managed to catch the movie i wanted to watch. Time Traveller's Wife! Very romantic movie but a bit slow moving. Ken baby didn't enjoy it but I did at least. Its soo sweettt :)

Someone got very excited when he saw this tsk tsk.


And oh boyyyy Pavilion has such nice decos as usual. Its more than a month to Christmas but it felt like Christmas yesterday! They were already playing christmas carols and all the awesome christmas decos are up already!!

Pavilion never fail to let shoppers down with their always pretty decorations no matter what the festivals.

They even had decos outside the mall itself!

And this was the one I liked the best!!

These pictures would look much nicer if I had a DSLR! Haha. I did spot a few people just going around with their DSLR and snapping away. I won't be surprised if they came all the way for that. It's really really pretty!!!

Have vowed to go back soon to snap more pictures and i will make sure the camera is fully charged XD

So that was what I was doing the afternoon before I experienced that 'jaw-dropping' moment of my life. Thinking back, its SO ironic, SO stupid yet SO unfortunate. I can say nothing but OMG OMG OMG!

Well, I'll probably get over that in time (hopefully!). I think I deserve this 2 week holiday before classes resume. SO not looking forward T_T
